- We must control our free spending council.

- EBOP Headquarters to remain in Whakatane.
- We must use all available sources of funding including vigorously lobbying government to build the Welcome Bay underpass.

- A past Tauranga District councillor and Tauranga City councillor. I have lived in the same house for 35 years and every year recently seen the rates go up well over the rate of inflation, this year in my case a whopping 15%. There has also been a reduction in basic free core services.
- I am appalled at how TCC squanders money endlessly with Household rates being used to prop up Strategic City Partners and developers.
- Tauranga Ratewatch team will focus on retaining free basic core services.
- And appose the endless squandering of ratepayers' money.

- A vote for me and the Tauranga Ratewatch team would see a firm stand against spending $25 million moving EBOP Headquarters to Tauranga.
- I oppose squandering ratepayer money on luxury projects such as the Museum over the water project, and Council funded stadium.
- I see the need for Free Basic Core Services
- We need to investigate the Strategic Partner concept carefully; it lacks transparency.
- I would provide down to earth and commonsense governance, with a clear understanding of our Environment, Social Needs, People and Community.
